EMDR is one of the most advanced and effective method in the treatment of PTSD, Anxiety Disorders, Performance Anxiety, Eating Disorder and more. EMDR Therapy Training provides an opportunity to become fully trained in EMDR.
This training meets the requirements of the EMDR International Association (www.emdria.org)
The training includes 40 hours of training, plus 10 hours of required consultation: 
- It involves two, 3- day workshops filled with dynamic presentations, instructional videos, and supervised practicum.
- Additionally, it includes five, 2-hour case consultations by teleconference between training weekends to support the learning process.
At the end of this training, you will be prepared to integrate EMDR into your practice and see dramatic results in the individuals you treat.
Qualifications for Attendance
A clinical background is essential for effective application of EMDR.
Attendance at the training is limited to mental health professionals who have a master’s degree or higher in the mental health field and are licensed or certified through a state or national board, which authorizes independent practice.
Interns and students must be under supervision by a licensed supervisor and submit a letter of verification of completed graduate coursework at an accredited school (must be in practicum and/or internship portion of the program), vitae, licensing track, supervision by a licensed clinician, and submit a letter from their supervisor with his/her degree and license number.
Presenter
Hector Matascastillo, MSW, LICSW, is EMDRIA Certified, Approved Consultant and an EMDRIA Trainer.
Since his original training in 2010, he has specialized in working with Veterans and helped established the Veterans Resilience Project of Minnesota, developed the first manualized batterer intervention program for Veterans which included EMDR as the evidence-based practice, is a published author and speaker on many subjects and is the Coordinator for the Twin Cities Metro Trauma Recovery Network in response to the current emergencies in the Twin Cities area.

CEU’s: 50 hours
Participants must attend the full training and participate in five, 2-hour virtual consultation groups to receive a certificate of completion.
Investment: $1,750.00
Cost includes both weekends and the group virtual consultation hours. There are no additional costs, except for the purchase of the required reading book.
